This hotel was just a perfect match for an overnight stay in Addis Ababa with fantastic value. Yonas, one of the staff, helped us find a great restaurant nearby, making our evening special. Be sure to ask about local dining options.

The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with very

friendly staff who made us feel at home. The property was clean and safe, enhancing our overall experience. However, the dining options were somewhat limited, particularly the menu choices at the restaurant.

What shines and what doesn’t

The staff’s attentive service and exceptional hospitality truly stand out, creating a warm atmosphere. Rooms maintained high cleanliness standards, ensuring comfort during my stay.

Unfortunately, the air conditioning struggled in certain rooms, making for uncomfortable nights. Additionally, the food service could take an unusually long time to arrive.

The staff were friendly and attentive. The heated pool was a highlight for relaxation. I enjoyed the varied breakfast options each morning. The Wi-Fi was reliable throughout my stay. A pleasant and enjoyable experience all around. 🏊‍♂️

Excellent for Family Getaway

The staff were friendly, especially when they helped us with ride taxi bookings to explore the area. Our kids loved the delicious breakfast, especially the waffles which had a different taste every day, one day amazing, the next just okay!

It wasn’t the cheapest place around, but it was acceptable given the overall experience.

We enjoyed a fabulous evening at the authentic Ethiopian cultural restaurant, where my family could dine while listening to live music and watching traditional dances. The staff were so accommodating, even helping us with a baby-friendly area to enjoy our meal in peace.

My kids wished for a more spacious play area outside for them to run around.

The Capital Hotel and Spa made my stay feel exceptional. The staff were incredibly accommodating. Tsion at the front desk was friendly and had my early check-in ready. The room offered a lovely design with a comfortable bed. The location felt safe and convenient, with easy access to ATMs. The heated pool provided a relaxing escape after a long day. I enjoyed the varied breakfast options, but the carpet in my room had some stains that needed attention. It did take a bit longer to get drinks at the bar, which was a little frustrating. Noise from the road could be an issue too, as the soundproofing fell short. However, the free airport shuttle was very handy, making my arrival and departure stress-free. I've decided to book a return visit soon.

the only downside was the slow Wi-Fi. other than that, the breakfast spread was impressive! loved the indoor pool and the super comfy bed made for great sleeps! the staff was very friendly too!

During our six-night stay, we encountered a mix of experiences. While the breakfast offered a delicious variety and the bed was comfortable, the noise levels were quite disruptive, making it hard to sleep at times. The staff tried their best to accommodate our needs by moving us to a quieter room, but the overall noise made our stay a bit challenging. Despite that, we appreciated the effort and kindness of the staff throughout our visit.

I recently stayed for 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the deep tissue massage. it was incredibly soothing! The breakfast buffet had such variety, especially the delicious omelettes. However, the pool policy on swim caps was frustrating and restrictive. I'd definitely return!
